Covering an area of 2126ha., Jiulong Mountain National Forest Park is located in Chuanfangyu Village, east of Jizhou District, consisting of three main attractions of Jiulong Mountain, Limutai Mountain and Huanghua Mountain. It was approved to be a forest park in 1995 and a national forest park in 1997. At present, it is the only and the biggest national mountain forest park in Tianjin. In the northeast of the park, nine ridges stand continuously in the barranca like nine Chinese dragons getting together. Thus it was named as Jiulong (nine dragons). As one of the 50 national eco-tourism routes, the park shows greatly the charms of nature with quiet forest, ancient cave, rare peak and elegant water. The ancient site, luxuriant forest and abundant water resource together form the exclusive ecological environment. Different seasons, same fine views. Jiulong Moutain Park is highly praised by experts the "fairyland on earth", "vacation paradise" and "blessed land for health care".
